Little to report, since we left Brisbane. Chilling, eating, Lectures, Scrabble, eating, theatre, etc.

At midday today the Captain gave our position as

Having travelled 1129nm from Brisbane with 336nm remaining to Rabaul. The total distance travelled from Southampton was 20,017nm.
Ocean depth 2240m
Today's Temperature Tue 06 March

Sea 31°C / 88°F
with
Lat: 08° 33.9' S
Lng: 154° 1.7' E
at 14:48.
We cross the Equator on Thursday when we will be into day one of five days at sea before Okinawa, Japan.
We are looking forward to a trip in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea tomorrow. It will be GMT - 10.
We are expecting it to be a bumpy ride, volcanic island with limited roads. Mo and I are hoping we can cope with the weather, both the heat and humidity.
The pictures of the sea were taken yesterday, I just love the many shades of blue.
The maps show our progress north from Brisbane and the more detailed one shows our next destination Rabaul NW of the Solomon Islands.
All good here.
Hope all well with you all.
Love Rob & Mo
