World Cruise Journal - A valuable tool + Captain's Noon Report.

Just had Captain Aseem Hashmi's 12 noon report. Weather and sea less fair, winds now force 7 on Beaufort Scale (30 Knots). Although very comfortable ride.

Just taken photo from library window.

Noon report tells us:

* On heading 230°
* Travelled 1250 nautical miles (nm) from San Francisco on way to Honolulu Hawaii, 856 nm to go.
* We have covered 11,321nm since leaving Southampton on 7th January.
* Sea depth currently 4000m, about 2 miles deep
* Position Lat 28°45' N Long 145°10' W
* Outside Temp 20°C/68°F

The rest of the pictures show the boxed gift of a Journal Maxine bought us in 2016 as a gift for our original Cruise scheduled for Magellan Jan 2017. It is proving very useful and I am making written port entries to complement this blog. THANK YOU MAX! 😄👍👌💜💛💙

The two maps, one of time zones and the other shows the Pacific we are enroute from San Francisco to Honolulu, we the head for French Polynesia.
